Televisions are no longer bulky, heavy items stuck in the middle of the living room. In the past we tried to hide TVs using pretty cabinetry, but that resulted with the cabinet becoming the focal point of the room. Now with the new flat screen TVs it is easier to put the focus back on our seating areas for entertaining.
